Greetings from Montreal, Canada.

I recently purchased a Pioneer CD-ROM DR-U16S (player)firmware 1.01, and
a MATSUSHITA CW-7502 (burner) firmware 4.01. Whatever software i use
may it be Prassi CD Rep Professional, Nero, or Adaptec Easy Cd Creator i

Example: a 4:22 audio file took 9:06 to copy.

Hi,
I had *perhaps* a similar problem, using the Pan. 7502 and EZ CD creator
I would see 2X burns when I'd specified 4X (?)... this was strictly data...
so, I found that by-passing the Wizard would allow me to burn all at
4X, with the Wizard, well, guess it was up to him... even if I specified
4X, some would burn at 2X... not so if I bypassed it, copied directly
from the explorer setup and then just 'created cd'... HTH>
