Hi
Can anyone please e-mail me with details of (and where I might find) a
simple MIDI file player for the ST. All I want to do is to be able to read
a .mid file off floppy disk and play it, no editing, tempo change, etc
required. The simpler the better because I may try to use it on stage
without a monitor!?!
Please reply by email cause I don't get to read this group very often.

Same here. something that supports a straight drag & drop of
a .MID or passing of the file by another application (such as
CAB when it encounters a .MID on the web). is there such TTP?

Of course you'd hae to have a MIDI sound source connected to your machine at
the same time - no samples are contained within a MID file.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious...

Hehe, MIDI came into this house years before my first ST ;-)

Btw, I have found a little TTP that does it, but it can only
play single line melodies. What I really need is something
that supports the full 24 notes/16 channels GM specs.
