First off, let me introduce myself. I have just taken over the running of the
provisionally-named Kelstar Atari User Group from Bob Kell, which has been
going since around February 1997. The take-over was a completely amicable
affair, as Bob stated that he was only going to get the club up & running,
then let someone else take it on. Well it seems that someone was me!

Bob has talked before about registering with your organisation, the UKAAUG,
but I believe he never got around to it during his stint as editor, so it is
now up to me.

Could you send me details of how I register this user group with the
nationwide register you run? What would I need to send you? Are there any
fees invilved, either initial, ongoing or any administration costs? What
benefits would the club gain from joining the UKAAUG, both nationally and
internationally? Do you have any comments from other User Groups about their
experiences after registering? Any information along these lines would be
very helpful. Would you mind if any information I received from you was
published on the User Group disk, for the members to read, and possibly
comment on?

Your help in these matters would be greatly appreciated.

On another note, would you agree to be interviewed for an issue of the ST
Highway diskmag? The interview would take the form of an ASCII file
consisting of approximately 10 questions, which I've been told look
deceptively simple! The questions aren't the usual "What's your favourite
program?" style of question. I have done a couple previously, and each time
the questions are relevant only to that person being interviewed. Previous
"victims" include dave Hollis (ST+ diskmag), Chris Holland (Maggie) and Bob
Kell. Please let me know.

I look forward to your reply.
