Additional RS232 ports ?

Post by frase.. » Sat, 31 Aug 1991 00:38:45

I remember seeing a while ago instructions for adding additional RS232
ports to an Atari 1040, but I've long since lost them. Has anyone
built a project to do this (ie. a multiplexer for the existing port,
a cartridge-port addition, etc.) ?

There's a little box with two additional RS232 ports, sold by Double Click software.

You should find their address in allmost every magazine or DC?????? program.

1. Additional Midi on serial port?

I've seen a posting and a diagram about additional Midi being available for
Cubase through the St's serial port by using a simple db9 to midi cable.
I've also seen a posting warning against this.  That the connection needs
to be isolated in some fashion.

Does anyone have any information regarding this?

Thanks in advance,
