AFAIK, the author doesn't support Address anymore. Which version do you
have? I have v 2.2 (sep. 30, 1997). I don't use Address but a brief test
shows me that the birthday warning displays the correct timestamp.

Normally you can find the e-mail address in the 'About Address" menu.
Click on 'Shareware' and then on 'Support'.

It's in the 'Information' page:
Carsten Setje-Eilers
Aschauweg 18a
D 24116 Kronshagen
Germany

And the 'email' page gives:

I don't know if these are still current or whether he still supports the
program.

Regards, /Peter/

Hi hallvard.

1. MyDOS "current directory" ("D:") address!?

I seem to have come across a moving string :).  Unless it's in the part
of the technical manual that I have that is corrupt (couldn't finish the
unARC), it seems that the MyDOS manuals don't specify where the current
directory is stored.

Great help to me, eh?  Since I'm working on a replacement (let's call it
an upgrade? :) ) for the current DUP.SYS menu, that is...

Anyways...  oh damn.. lost the paper.  Well.. I did a search of all of
the memory (via BASIC) for any string that is the same as what I set the
current directory to (via XIO 41, aka "CD", aka "R"-set directory)

But... I found that it moves around in memory.  So ... can anyone out
there supply me with the pointer to this string?  Or if it doesn't have a
pointer, what it's offset is... and to what RAM position (ie, is it above
RAMTop, below MEMLO ... have I got that backwards?)

Inotherwords..  could SOMEBODY help me!?        (geez.. I hope I don't
                                                get 100 responses saying
                                                "yeah! sure! it's ....,
                                                 didn't you KNOW that!?!"
                                                ...would I feel dumb..)

hehe
