gulam v1.03

Post by Mike Rei » Sun, 02 Sep 1990 17:43:00

Last May,  Ed Beers asked about using the kb command in gulam to "fix"
the delete key.  At the time I made a note of the request, but as I did not
have gulam, it wasn't important.  I did watch for a response, but I never
saw it.  Now I have gulam and I, too, would like my delete key to do a
forward instead of a backward delete.

I am having the same problem that he did.  That is "kb -(r,m,or g) 07f 1d"
do not work.  What is the solution ???

thanks,

mike

Does anyone have documentation on gulam v1.03?

The following commands used to work with earlier version but don't now:

#fix delete key
kb -r 07f 1d
kb -m 07f 1d
kb -g 07f 1d

#set temp directory to ram disk if present
if -d g:\tmp
  setenv TMPDIR g:\tmp
  setenv TEMP   g:\
ef
  setenv TMPDIR d:\
  setenv TEMP   d:\
endif

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.  I use gulam all the
time but having a delete key that backspaces is driving me nuts.
