Hello Atarifreaks, hows the atari going, keep the faith and keep the
atari hummy

Anyway is there anyone out there in atari-*space that is interested
in cheating on the atari games thru emulators (like a800win, handy etc
etc...) then read on

Recently I downloaded a couple of utilities from the internet, they are
called game trainers, similar to pro action replay on the
megadrive/snes etc

the best one i've used at the moment is game wiz 32 which allows you to
find addresses for lives, energy etc etc, not just on pc games but also
the games running thru emulators

Their is only one problem with this programme, if you are using it thru
8bit emulators thru win 9x, it disables the save feature for some
reason, however it doesnt stop you manually writing down the addresses
for the games and then, when your not using the emulator go load up
game wiz, even though you havent got any addresses, press or select the
add button, type in the addresses and the label (what the cheat does)
and continue the process untill you have entered all the cheats for
that game (do not insert the variable/value) select save, delete the
prog manager entry, type in name of emulator followed by hyphen and the
name of program, it will save, now all you do is reload the emulator
and the game you found cheats for, pause the emulator or get back into
windows, go to game wiz, select program select, select of the emulator
you have chosen, and press ok, go to the load icon and select the file
of the game you wish to cheat on, if you have selected freeze value,
unfreeze it, go back to the emulator play the game for 2 secs. pause it
and the emu go back to game wiz and select the entries , youll now
notice that values have now been assigned freeze the values or enter
new ones and freeze new values and go back to your game and you will
now have the cheats installed, beware though that when you reinitialize
the game it might store the location for lives energy etc in a
different location, this is true of some lynx games i've being
playing... I am currently looking at a few other game trainers

Getting back to you soon

Happy Atari'ng
