Hello,
I've been asked about my window system...well I've posted a couple
of GFA BASIC 3 mock up programs to comp.binaries.atari.st.

I've used GFA BASIC to do all my mock ups, ideas on how to implement
such a system...I've written another version of the same system in
        C/Assembly and it's even faster!!

There are two .GFA TEST programs ...
                o Diskanal.gfa - is a half completed disk analyser
I'll probably finish it off when I've finished
the new window system ; which shouldn't be
long! The Bootsector, Directory editors do work
                                 and some other little stuff......
Play around with it! But be careful!!!
(If you mess up your disks, don't blame me!!)
                o Virtual.gfa - demonstrates a large virtual dektop
it doesn't use extra memeory for it's 9 screens!
NOTE: to get to another window just move the
mouse pointer to the edge of the screen.
                                Very similar to Xwindow's vtwm.

Well these programs are very very old (6 months old) ... The new version
is much better graphically and much faster!; it now has a on-line
hypertext system, icons, sound etc....and it's less that 60k long so
        far!!
